Issue: Canvas - Images are rotated

Issue/Question

• When I upload images to Canvas, they are rotated. How do I rotate them back?
• My images in Canvas are rotated 90 degrees. How do I fix them?

Cause/Explanation

While your images may display correctly on your mobile device or computer, they may actually be rotated. Once you upload them to Canvas, Canvas does not provide a way to rotate them to the correct orientation. Resolution

1. Re-open the image in an image editor on your computer (such as Paint in Windows).
2. Adjust the image rotation and re-save the file.
3. Re-upload the file to Canvas.
