Explanation
Cyberduck is a good program to transfer files. Cyberduck is available at http://cyberduck.ch/
Resolution
- Start Cyberduck
- Click on Open Connection
- Choose "SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)" from the Protocol: drop-down list
- Server: should be set to "shell.onid.oregonstate.edu"
- Set the server name to a different OSU server if needed
- Username: should be your ONID username
- Password: should be your ONID password
- Click the Connect button
- Provide additional (DUO) login credentials
- Either press 1 to send a DUO push or enter in DUO passcode to continue
- If you get a pop-up window saying "Unknown host key for shell.onid.oregonstate.edu", click the Always button
