Resolution

OSU is adding collaboration technology to over 270 classrooms, auditoriums, and labs to facilitate synchronous in-person and remote instruction.

Upgraded academic spaces have a video camera mounted in the back or side of the classroom, and overhead microphones built into the ceiling or a clip-on lapel microphone at the teaching station. Remote students will be heard through speakers in the classroom.

Teaching content such as Powerpoint, web browsers, and the document camera can be easily shared with in-person and remote students simultaneously using Zoom.
