This article shows the steps to download your own media files from MediaSpace or Canvas.

• How do I download my media from MediaSpace/Canvas?

Environment

Resolution

1. Visit My Media in either Canvas or MediaSpace
2. Click the Edit button for the media in question (small pencil icon). You must be in 'edit mode' for the video to see the download option.
   
   
   Or navigate to the media in question and choose Edit from the ACTIONS menu beneath the media
   
    
3. In the Edit player window click the download button, found between the Quality Settings gear and the Full Screen button, and your video will download. The download button will not appear on the player unless you are in 'edit mode' for the video.. You should see several tabs beneath the video when you are in 'edit mode', including tabs for Collaboration, Thumbnails, Captions etc. If you do not see the download button or these tabs, you likely missed step two above.
