Kaltura: Embed media in Canvas through the Canvas rich content editor

Overview

Kaltura is Oregon State University's video platform. Kaltura is directly integrated into Canvas and allows users who are editing or creating new text content (such as a Canvas page, announcement, or assignment) to embed their media (audio or video) directly into their text. This is also the recommended method for students to submit media (audio or video) as an assignment in Canvas.

If you are planning on sharing the video with students in Canvas, review how to edit the video and how to request and edit captions.
