Explanation

Zoom users now have the ability to enable the Q&A functionality for their Zoom meetings. Q&A allows participants to ask questions during the meeting, and for the host and co-hosts to answer their questions.

Resolution

Method 1 - Enable Q&A on Individual Meetings

  1. Log-in to zoom.oregonstate.edu
  2. Click "Meetings" from menu on the left side of your window
  3. Click "Schedule a Meeting"
  4. Enter your meeting information (title/date/time)
  5. Click "Show" next to "Options"
  6. Select the "Q&A" option
  7. Save your meeting

Method 2 - Enable Q&A for All Future Meetings

  1. Log-in to zoom.oregonstate.edu
  2. Click "Settings" from menu on the left side of your window
  3. Click 'In Meeting (Advanced)"
  4. Locate the "Q&A in meetings" setting
  5. Enable that setting by clicking the switch on the right side of the window
  6. Schedule a meeting and the Q&A meeting option is enabled by default for all future meetings

Method 3 - Enable Q&A to an Existing Meeting

  1. Log-in to zoom.oregonstate.edu
  2. Click "Meetings" from menu on the left side of your window
  3. Place your cursor over the meeting you'd like to add Q&A to
  4. Click "Edit"
  5. Click "Show" next to "Options"
  6. Select the "Q&A" option
  7. Save your meeting
